Description: Click to generate a vCalendar file to import into your off-line calendar Director of Policy Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, David Cortright will be speaking from his experience as a peace scholar, activist, teacher, and international consultant. He was an executive director of SANE, the Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy for more than 10 years in the 80s, and is chair of the board of Fourth Freedom Forum, a nonpartisan foundation that provides alternative solutions to global security threats.

David Cortright has provided research services to foreign ministries of Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. He is a prolific writer including most recently Ending Obama's War (May 2011) and Towards Nuclear Zero (2010).
